Cyclospora (Cyclosporiasis)

Cyclospora is a microscopic parasite that infects the small intestine and usually causes watery diarrhea. It is spread by people ingesting something – such as food or water – that is contaminated with feces. The time between becoming infected and becoming sick is usually about 1 week.
