ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training)
The ASIST workshop (formerly the Suicide Intervention Workshop) is for caregivers who want to feel more comfortable, confident and competent in helping to prevent the immediate risk of suicide. Over 200,000 caregivers have participated in this two-day, highly interactive, practical, practice-oriented workshop. Information on various suicide prevention training packages, their intervention handbook, and links to various suicide-related resources.

QPR for Suicide Prevention
The QPR Institute offers comprehensive suicide prevention training programs, educational and clinical materials for the general public, professionals, and institutions. Two courses are now available on-line: QPR Suicide Triage is for anyone who may come into contact with potentially suicidal persons – health aides, nurses, counselors, law enforcement, fire and EMT professionals, attorneys, school health personnel, chaplains, and crisis line staff. QPRT: Suicide Risk Assessment and Risk Management Training. QPRT stands for Question/Persuade/Refer/Treat and is for professionals who may evaluate, assist, counsel or treat potentially suicidal persons.
