Alaska Coalition for Healthy Youth
Goal
- To collaborate, promote, implement, evaluate, and improve science-informed approaches to bolster sexual health and wellness education and programs for youth and young adults in Alaska.
The Alaska Coalition for Health Youth is a collaborative of partners that addresses unintended pregnancy, teen pregnancy & STI infection prevention. The coalition meets quarterly to insure on-going communications on current available prevention funding, opportunities for collaboration and on the status of young Alaskans sexual and reproductive. The coalition researches best approaches to sexual health education, reproductive health access practices for adolescents 11-25, collaborates with interpersonal violence prevention partners, and aims to insure awareness of the reproductive and sexual rights of young Alaskans.
