Alaska FASD Provider Network

The Alaska FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders) Provider Network is a pilot initiative of the Alaska Department of Health and Social Services Comprehensive FASD Program. The Network aims to develop the Alaska workforce serving individuals and families affected by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders through opportunities to share knowledge and expertise. Clinicians who are both actively engaged in FASD diagnoses and/or support services and those who are interested in learning about FASD are encouraged to participate.

Currently members of the Network are actively engaged in providing instrumental feedback for the revision of the AK DHSS FASD Providers Agreement. Additionally, medical providers attended a training and are testing out an online application developed by the Collaborative Initiative on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (CIFASD) to assist with FASD diagnoses and screening.
