Home Accessibility/Enabling Pilot Project

Travis’s technology was purchased with grant funds. The Statewide Independent Living Council (SILC) manages a grant program called the Home Accessibility/Enabling Technology Pilot Project. This program is currently accepting applications from Matanuska-Susitna Borough residents who meet the eligibility requirements.

• Increase independence and self-esteem;
• Improve satisfaction and quality of life;
• Become more active and integrated in the community;
• Improve health and/or safety;
• Achieve personal goals.
