FY 2017 Annual Medicaid Reform Report Submitted to Legislature

• The department transmitted the FY 2017 Annual Medicaid Reform Report to the legislature on November 15th.

FY 2017 Annual Department of Law and DHSS Joint Fraud, Abuse, and Waste Report Submitted to Legislature (11/15/2017)

• The Department of Law transmitted the joint report to the legislature on November 15.

Stakeholder Workgroup Reports Submitted to DHSS (09/05/2017)

The department recently received final reports from two stakeholder workgroups authorized through SB 74. The first focuses on recommendations to reduce barriers to the expansion of telehealth strategies. The second focuses on recommendations for program measures and performance goals to monitor and improve the quality and cost effectiveness of Medicaid. The department will be analyzing the recommendations brought forward in the reports and developing strategies for moving forward. Each report and the Department’s response will be included in the annual report on Medicaid redesign efforts that will be released in November.
