Dental X-Ray Devices
Welcome all dentists to Alaska’s Radiological Health Program!
Through the legislative process in 2023, authority over dental x-ray devices changed from the Department of Community, Commerce, and Economic Development to the Department of Health. We are trying our best to fold your devices and facilities into the structure of our existing DOH Radiological Health Program and hope you feel supported in our efforts to maintain compliance across all dental practices when it comes to radiation-producing devices.

We require that all x-ray devices (intra- and extra-oral) are registered with our program. Please visit our Smartsheet website to get registered!
We are doing our best to bridge communication between the dentists, our program, the Alaskan Board of Dentists, and the Alaska Dental Society. Please let us know how we are doing by dropping us an email at
