The Alaska Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) Program teams up with local, state, and national groups to help stop the harm caused by drinking alcohol during pregnancy.
What we do
Outreach
- Share information about Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) through materials, outreach events, and community activities
- Partner with FASD community members to develop training programs
- Provide support and guidance to organizations, families, and individuals when needed
Services
- Oversee FASD Diagnostic Teams in Alaska that bring together experts from different fields to work with communities
- Assist people in understanding and accessing services while working to improve systems by fixing gaps and removing barriers
- Support individuals with FASD at all stages of life, including helping them transition into adulthood
