What is Marijuana?

What is marijuana or cannabis?

Marijuana, also called cannabis, refers to parts of the marijuana plant, such as its leaves, stems, flowers (buds), and products made from it, like oils, waxes, and edibles. The key ingredient in marijuana is tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), which causes the feeling of being "high." People usually use marijuana by smoking it or eating foods containing THC.
