“Health care providers are a crucial partner in helping Alaska adults quit tobacco and nicotine. They are in a unique position to screen patients for tobacco use and provide the necessary resources and support,” said Christy Knight, Alaska’s Tobacco Prevention and Control Program Manager.

The Brief Tobacco Intervention is a quick and effective approach to address tobacco use in fewer than 3 minutes.
