Central Application Processing Unit
Central application for SDS programs
Who we are
The Central Application Processing (CAP) Unit reviews and processes applications for Medicaid-funded programs such as Home and Community-Based Waiver Programs and State Plan Programs. These programs support Alaskan seniors and people with disabilities. Waiver Programs let people choose between home and community-based services or institutional care if they meet a nursing facility level of care. State Plan Programs support daily and instrumental activities of daily living.
