Apply for Grant
Request funding to improve Alaskans’ health

Overview
The Department of Health manages nearly 100 grant programs. These programs support a wide range of health-related services for Alaskans that are provided by over 250 nonprofit agencies. To see past grants, look for the Grant Book for the current year in Resources below.
Who qualifies?
Who can apply for a grant depends on the specific grant.
For its grants, DOH posts open requests for applications (called “competitive solicitations”) on the State of Alaska Online Public Notice System. Each request explains who is allowed to apply.
To find current grant opportunities, visit the State of Alaska Online Public Notice System. You can search in different ways, like by department (Health) and by Category (grants) to find notices that interest you.

How to sign up
When you find a grant you want to apply for, read the public notice for that opportunity. It will direct you to a contact person and documents that will give you information on how to apply. If you have any questions, ask the person who is listed as a contact for that grant.
All completed grant proposals will be considered according to Alaska Statute. For more information on how a proposal will be judged, please see the public notice for the grant.
