- Fairbanks - April 24 and September 25
Who qualifies?
The clinic is for those who
- Receive a diagnosis through the Newborn Bloodspot Screening Program

- Move to Alaska with a diagnosed metabolic condition
How to sign up
Patients need a referral from a pediatrician, primary care provider, or family doctor.
Doctors can fax medical records and contact information to 907-754-3425. The clinic will review the records to determine if the patient qualifies for an appointment. If approved, the clinic manager will reach out to schedule the visit.
How to use
During the clinic visit, patients will:
- Get a physical exam and review of their family health history
- Talk with a metabolic doctor about their condition, treatment, and risks
- Meet with a nutritionist if they need help with their diet
After the visit, the clinic will send appointment notes and recommendations to the patient’s doctor for follow-up care.
