Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator Training
A champion for pediatric emergency care
Overview
A Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator (PECC) is someone who helps make sure kids get the best care during emergencies within one or more emergency systems.
What a PECC does can change depending on what the system needs and has available. Their tasks might include encouraging training about caring for kids, working with the Alaska EMS for Children Program to gather information about pediatric care, and making sure the right tools and equipment are ready to use.
Who qualifies?
EMS agencies appoint a PECC to provide pediatric leadership.
