Overview
A Residential Child Care Facility (RCCF) is a place, staffed by employees, where one or more children, separated from their parents, receive 24-hour care on a continuous basis.
Who qualifies?
There are seven specializations in RCCF residential licensing.
- License Residential Child Care Facilities (RCCF) according to state statutes and regulations
- Provide orientation on state regulations, licensing, and fees
- Conduct annual inspection of all applicable licensed facilities
- Investigate complaints alleging violations of state statutes and regulations
- Maintain a current list of licensed facilities in Alaska
- Monitor facilities and work in partnership with partner agencies and providers
How to sign up
There are several steps to obtain a RCCF license in the State of Alaska. If you are interested in obtaining a license, please download the New Home Application packet and submit it to Residential Licensing.
Download the applicationYour application will be reviewed by a supervisor and assigned to a specialist. The specialist will work closely with you to ensure your application meets all the licensing requirements, followed by an onsite inspection of your facility before final review and approval.
