Overview
The Small Rural Hospital Improvement Program (SHIP) is a federally funded state run program that provides reimbursements to hospitals for investments made to meet value-based payment and quality care goals through purchases of hardware, software, and training.
Who qualifies?
To qualify for this program, a hospital must:
• Have 49 available beds or fewer
• Be located in a rural area
• Be defined as a non-federal general acute care facility
