​Chanlyut​

As defined by the ASAM Continuum website a 3.1 is a Clinically Managed Low-Intensity Residential Treatment Program. Chanlyut is a 24 bed facility located at 3149 Mountain View Dr, Anchorage AK 99508. Chanlyut provides services to adult males 18 years of age and up. The participant appropriately placed at this level of care will have a moderate to severe substance misuse and/ or addictive disorder. As part of their care we will provide 24 hour support and structure with trained clinical and support staff who are also versed in the Therapeutic Village of Care (TVC) model. We are required to offer a minimum of five hours of clinical service, but will host about 13. These services will include process based and psychoeducational groups, Seeking Safety, Living in Balance, as well as other evidence based practices. As part of the TVC participant will also be intimately engaged in vocational training through the work therapy program and partnership with Alaska's People. The length of stay will be 4-6 weeks long and will vary depending on participant need.
