Regulations

Alaska Administrate Code (AAC) Regulations, commonly referred to as “regs”, are rules developed by agencies in the executive branch of government. Statutes passed by the legislature govern the authority to make these rules, and once regulations are properly authorized and publicized, they have the force and effect of law. Most DBH related regulations fall under Alaska Administrative Code Title 7 Health and Social Services, specifically 7 AAC 70 and 7 AAC 135-139. The online infobase has unofficial versions of the Alaska Administrative Code and Alaska State Statutes.

To find out more about regulations please visit the Lieutenant Governor’s regulations web page.
