Healthy, Empowered and Responsible Teens (Anchorage)
Goals
- Increase knowledge of STIs, contraceptives and unhealthy relationships; increase perceived risk of STIs; increase perceived ability to use condoms
In partnerships with the Municipality of Anchorage, sexual health educators and clinical staff provide comprehensive and fact based sexual health education and referrals to clinical services for youth in Anchorage.
The educators utilize the Rights Respect and Responsibility curriculum from Advocates for Youth, an age appropriate K-12 evidence informed curriculum available.
