Treatment & Recovery
Managing grant programs to support behavioral health services
Who we are
The Treatment and Recovery (T&R) Section manages grant programs to support behavioral health services statewide. Our team includes professionals with expertise in clinical care, program development, and quality assurance, offering diverse knowledge to advance our mission.
What we do
We provide technical assistance to grantees through consultation, site visits, training, and program development. We support statewide behavioral health initiatives, including workforce development, evidence-based practice implementation, fidelity reviews, and grant monitoring.
We apply for federal grants, administer funding, and foster collaboration among providers and community partners. Our responsibilities include managing contracts, administering provider agreements, participating in workgroups, and contributing to planning and policy development.
We also collaborate with the Behavioral Health Medicaid Section to ensure quality assurance and alignment in Medicaid-funded behavioral health programs, helping Alaskans access the resources they need to thrive.
