Overview
For more than a decade, the Play Every Day campaign has supported Alaska children to grow up healthy and strong.
Play Every Day is run through the Alaska Physical Activity and Nutrition program. Its long-term goal is to support more children to grow up at a healthy weight.
Play Every Day is also a partner of the Healthy Futures program to get kids moving.

In early January, the YMCA will start an affordable program for families to help their kids build habits to grow up healthy. The Anchorage YMCA will offer the program from Jan. 8, 2026, through July 2, 2026. It will be provided at the YMCA at 5353 Lake Otis Parkway.
