Overview

Adult Day Services (ADS) offer care in a safe, group setting for adults with disabilities, especially those with Alzheimer’s or related disorders.

These services include therapeutic and social activities tailored to each individual’s needs through personalized care plans. ADS supports families and caregivers by providing education and respite, fostering social connections, and serving as a vital part of the aging support network.

Who qualifies?

These services are available to seniors 60+ who experience functional impairments, and adults under 60 with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD).

ADS may also be provided for other Alaskans with similar disabilities and service needs to older Alaskans who are otherwise at risk of being put an institution setting.
