Overview
The Vaccines For Children (VFC) Program is a federally funded program that provides free vaccines to children who are not vaccinated due an inability to pay. The VFC Program and the Alaska Vaccine Assessment Program (AVAP) offer vaccines at no cost to Alaska’s children.
Medical providers enroll with the Alaska Immunization Program to receive vaccines funded through VFC and AVAP, which are then administered in their clinics and practices.
