The Alaska Department of Health and Social Services, Health Information Technology, has completed a project to conduct an updated environmental scan to better understand the current as-is landscape relative to Health Information Technology (HIT), Electronic Health Record (EHR) adoption, and Health Information Exchange (HIE) participation within Alaska. Responses received throughout this effort have been analyzed and will be used in strategic planning efforts as they relate to the Medicaid EHR Incentive Payment Program and Health Information Infrastructure planning.
