Public Testimony Guidelines

Individuals are invited to speak for up to three minutes. A speaker may be granted the latitude to speak longer than the 3-minute time limit only by the Council Chair or by a motion adopted by the Council.

• Speakers are not permitted to criticize or attack others. Anyone providing comment should do so in a manner that is respectful of the Council and all meeting attendees.
• The Council Chair maintains the right to stop public comments that contain inappropriate or inflammatory language or behavior.
